Received 💜 It’s cool how the transaction amount doesn’t show when you look up the transaction on a block explorer. Next I need to learn more about the Federation and how confirmations/block production work on Liquid.

Confidential transactions are cool. I still don’t know what I’m going to use Liquid for but it’s probably worth learning. đź’§đź§
Yea so far I can see the privacy benefits, and the benefit of it being a non-custodial layer 2 that doesn’t require channel management. Lightning still wins on fees for small/micro transactions, and for very large transactions I think I’d still want to use on chain bitcoin. But for medium sized transactions or occasional small transactions where someone doesn’t want to maintain a Lightning node, I can see where it would be useful.
