I got a beta invite to Farcaster (the crypto, eth twitter type clone) and have been popping in and out this week trying to feel it out.
It’s polished (VC vibes of course) and there’s def people there using it but its really crypto/nft heavy and feels pretty sanitized honestly. Blah.
Nostr feels gritty and real. There’s soul here, you can feel it. ⚡️ Over there, not so much.
They are brain dead zombies basically over in crapto land
Its not my style whatsoever. That said, i always try to keep my finger on the pulse of things (without wasting too much time) to stay somewhat informed of what the flipside is up to.
It’s not going to work these don’t have the ability to become free open discussion places like nostr is. I no longer have to be afraid to speak.
This is the signal, nostr is winning

It is decentralization theatre, not the real thing. Instead of APIs published by Twitter corp, you use connect to Ethereum corp.
