There will be a dissident movement, and the Great Rabbit-Proof Firewall will be poorly implemented because it will be designed by a parliamentary committee based on the time-tested principles of "ooh shiny" and "my expert needs another junket to study that".

I've found the Cyber Plumber's Handbook more useful than Tor for helping ppl get through really bad mojo govt firewalls. SSH is everywhere, and ownership is as plausibly deniable as a set of spanners :)

“Great Rabbit-Proof Firewall” 😂😂🤣🤣

🤌

Same reasoning (inverted) is why I fear the Aussie CBDC - they outsourced it to the private sector, broke it up into a bunch of sections and had them all collaborate on parts where they had expertise. That’s how you know Gov are serious about making the system work, they didn’t just use it as an opportunity for rorting like they usually would have.
