I know this is not a popular opinion in here, but it's the truth. The 15k users here on Nostr who know how to use self-cudtodial LN will stick out in a sea of complying BTC IOU 'owners'.

They will own nothing and be happy?

Monero Bros are not much better but at least they can offer better shelter to those opting out.
