The opposite is true for women - the more partners they have before marriage, the more likely their marriage is to fail.
It’s not sexism, it’s human nature. 🤷‍♂️
Read The Red Queen. Awesome book that details the programming that is hard wired into human reproduction. It goes into that very subject and explains the data you just cited. Your analysis is basically correct, but there is some nuance in why.
Sperm are cheap, eggs are expensive. Always has been, might always be if we don’t go “Brave New World” on it all. Unfortunately those who probably shouldn’t reproduce have numbers of children and those who probably should multiply their genes don’t, but who am I to say?
