The work culture in US is getting absurd
Work 30 years paycheck to paycheck to afford modest house…….imagine the mansion you could build if you spend 30 years building and adding onto a house with your own 2 hands.
A mother that took her kids away with her because of an abusive husband did this by the way. Built an incredible house in 2 years by herself with some help from family members and then she wrote a book on how to do it. If I remember correct it was like 8 bedroom 4 bathroom or something like that.
