the layoffs are starting now because companies bought the lie that the economy was 'red hot' when we went into the pandemic, and so a red hot recovery was on the way once we got out of pandemic policy .. media was even saying inflation would roar to new levels when china reopened. never happened.

so companies hoarded workers because they thought a recovery was coming and they didnt want to layoff workers and not be able to handle business growth when recovery came. only recovery hasnt come.. and now it doesn't look like it will. only 1 option after that..
