Sweet! It looks great on web but on desktop, a part of the banner seems to be cut off.
I created a site this morning to test it out. With the layout I chose, it really reminds me of #tumblr, I luv it! 2. Could you please go to Theme settings and re-publish the site? This should fix the Github/Obtainium icons on mobile, and should make the image appear on your mascot post page.
