Fair! You can be the judge, not executor! 🐶🐾🫡🫂
It takes years to become a decent one. I’ve already dedicated myself more or less to product design.

I’ve learned enough about logo design to know what makes a good one, but I could not design a good one myself.
That’s 💯! Design is hard, but choosing the right one also takes a lot of skill! Logos are hard In general, you never know how it will be accepted by the target audience! 🐶🐾🫡
The target audience often doesn’t know what’s good and what’s not in terms of design. Yet decades later books are written about those brands.
So true! 🐶🐾😂
In my experience, only designers can judge design. It feels counterintuitive and not helpful - after all you are designing for users, but that’s what I’ve noticed. Without an eye for detail you can’t make judgments about design.
Public often doesn’t know what they want, but know it when they see it! May also be affected by perception at that time! It’s like beer, taste of it is associated with happy times and release of dopamine! When you try it first, it sucks. With experience you learn to love it and actually do! Human brain is fucked up like that! 🐶🐾😂🤷♂️
Yes it’s a commonly understood concept in the startup community that you don’t take user desires at face value but look at what they’re really trying to accomplish.
They want feet pics apparently
