Disagree. It's about want, not readiness. Few people want an experience that is difficult to curate and customize. Ground zero is a mad max wasteland of noise.
Someone has to "watch the Watchmen" and on this protocol WE'RE all our own Watchmen. It's a lot of power and too much for kids and even normies.
Clients would be good to clean up the UX as much as possible, smooth out the functionality and have options for prepackaged relays that filter out content based on a user's preferences. I can't recommend this protocol to any normal person...
Too hard. Too techie. Too much filth to filter out. Too many glitches.
Personally, I like a lot about it! But this is real world feedback fwiw.
