Looking at users of nostr:npub1pu3vqm4vzqpxsnhuc684dp2qaq6z69sf65yte4p39spcucv5lzmqswtfch today I noticed that we’ve been getting a bunch of users from the Arab world. So I thought it’d be cool to localize the app in to Arabic.
Anybody speak Arabic who could spend a few minutes localizing it?]

just wondering are all nostr clients able/allowed to track its users location?
We use a self hosted installation of posthog to track some information about use of the app. It’s not shared with anybody and run on a server we control. That said, any relay you connect to directly instead of via tor or a vpn, is going to be able to geolocate your ip address.
Why not? It's open-source, though, you can delete that stuff and compile it yourself.
Yep, you’re welcome to read through the code to see everything nos does, and most of the other nostr apps as well. One of the great things about open source is you can read the code, take it, modify it, and redistribute the app as you see fit!
cools, it doesnt matter for me as im a nobody, but for high profile people like snowden probably use a self-compiled client
I don't think so, most likely it's just him. Not really surprised, though. Better use another client, if you care for privacy and freedom.
