many of these kids started off with a shit hand when the most they got from their parents was an illogically spelled name to stand out instead of discipline, structure and role models

In America current undergrad students won't necessarily know how to read. Kids can be completely pushed through. Grade inflation and ability to redo or makeup assignments has proliferated public school systems.
