Freedom and tyranny can be viewed in terms of networks. An open and well connected network can evolve faster than a closed or easily closable network.

North Korea is effectively an island - all of its connections are tightly controlled.

The UK actually is an island, and it liberally bans people from entry for petty grievances like, "he hurt my feelings, wahhh"

The UK has long been the most heavily surveilled country in the world - Kim Jong Rocket Boy could only dream... And now if people post inconvenient pictures on Facebook, they are imprisoned.

As an American veteran, I think we should end all trade and cut all diplomatic ties with the regime illegally and incompetently ruling the UK.

All members of their government - from the very top to the very bottom - should be designated "persona non grata," pending appeal and review. Doing business with a UK based entity should have the same legal repercussions as doing business with an Iranian entity.
