Belgium, the country of beer 🍻
I thought Germany 😁
No way! 😤😀
“UNESCO world heritage
The historical, social, cultural and economic position beer has gained in Belgium since the Middle Ages is strong. It’s no wonder Belgium is called “the country of beer”:
• There are more than 250 authentic breweries and more than 150 beer companies. Together they bring 2000 original beers to the market.”

I wouldn't want to commit myself to that statement. There are other factors that also speak for the Czech Republic or Germany as the beer country. In my very generalized view Belgian beer is very malty, sweet and sometimes very fruity on purpose, so you get a beer you can enjoy almost like a wine. In Germany you get smooth and refreshing beers to drink all day every day, especially in Bavaria where the Reinheitsgebot was invented by some king in 1516 which limits the ingredients in it's original writing to only barley, hops and water. Nowadays it's more like malt, hops, yeast and water due to the different beer styles. Speaking of beer styles the most famous style Pilsner was most likely invented in the city of Plzeň, Bohemia, Czech Republic. Cheers 🍻
Of course there's no right answer. About Belgium, "beer country" is in the sense of the famous beer culture there and the insane amount of different Belgian beers.
I've also heard many people say that Czech beer is the best. As for Germany, well, everyone know Oktoberfest for a reason 😀
The truth is that the beer countries are the 3 of them: Czech Republic 🤝 Germany 🤝 Belgium.

Back when I drank alcohol, Tongerlo Lux was my favorite. Give it a try when you see it.
