The current energy secretary says,

“That term ‘clean energy’ is just a marketing term. There’s no clean energy. All energy sources involve trade-offs,” he continued. “Solar and wind take over 100 times more land, 10 times more steel and cement and heavy materials to produce. There’s no clean energy; there’s just different trade-offs.”

The problem with Statists, is that they can only think in Statist. And the Statist sees everything through a lens of 'scale' with government or large institutions at the center. When you stop thinking like this, and start thinking about producing energy for just yourself, all of the problems that they cant solve with their need to 'scale' everything, disappear for you.

The razon is on the table !

Solar and wind don't even take up land.

Gosh these politicians are a bunch of brain-dead petrol sniffers or something.

A fucking coal mine takes up land.

It's true, the statists are unable to use even the most basic reasoning.

The solar panels on my rooftop take up absolutely no land, there is already a fucking building under them.

Large scale wind turbines are a waste of concrete, but literally anyone can hook up a small wind turbine to a poll.

The electricity grid would be stronger if it was decentralised
