I don't agree. As Bitcoiners we believe in verification. Don't trust, verify. Religion has no proof, and there is significant proof that religious belief is harmful. Believe only in what can be verified as true, not what others tell you is truth. Believing in things that others express as true when there's no evidence to that effect is what shitcoiners do. Opening your eyes to the possibility that your religion may not be true, is another orange pill moment that should be sought after instead of feared. Life is better when you live with the purpose of only seeking and believing in verifiably true things.
Discussion
Sorry I missed this the other day!
My comment was more about breaking free from conventional narratives of reality…moving forward before society at scale acknowledges something as valid. This is relevant to Bitcoin but I felt like it could be relevant to many other things we may be pursuing in life.
Appreciate your perspective.
bitcoin is an unseen thing
it is just numbers, that exist whether or not we generated the key or the block was mined, in a separate plane of reality
it is everywhere, and nowhere
what you associate with the label "religion" is brainwashing and delusion, the former a deliberate mis-association and the latter a mistake imbued with faith
faith itself belongs only with that which is true and has reality, it is not faith itself that is wrong, because when we "verify" what we are doing is using a procedure that lets us reduce our doubt in something, doubt is the default posture without verification, and faith without verification is either brainwashing or delusion
