I'm not sure which major are you just from my major (electrical engineering) the so called projects and grants from governments are so fiat and full of shitcoins. 99% of the researches papers are useless in real life
yeah maybe, depends on the uni and curriculum
+ depends how heavily the job market over there relies on official education too
