Not sure all this fight between Tari protocol and Taro protocol is the fight between vowels ‘i’ vs ‘o’ (BTW, there are only 5 of them in the English language, out of 26 alphabets in total) or more about one protocol against Lightning Network⚡️

The documentation of Tari protocol make it sounds so.

“…feature is what sets Tari aside from most other cryptocurrency projects that ship with mobile wallets, including the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Lightning wallets cannot open channels directly from phone to phone over the wider internet, but have to go through a server-based lightning router. Try it. I’ll wait.” 😏

They could just drop Taro and contribute to #RGB instead. #Karma police!

This repo is actively under development. https://github.com/RGB-Tools/rgb-lightning-sample

Definitely RGB has upper hand.

They lack the funding that Taro has (had) and provide the same functionality. Also they described their specs way before Taro showed up.

Considering the market share of LND, Taro has upper hand. I prefer the approach by #RGB though. No on-chain traceability.
