Though I don’t disagree with him, nor I’d even have that right. It does need to be pointed out that the probable comparison is not between the fucked-up state of now and some idealised potential state of how “now” should’ve been. The comparison needs to be between “now”, and some potential “now” where Germany would’ve won the war.

Amusingly, I’m not even passing a value judgement there either, just pointing it out. Because the allied victory meant Soviet occupation that nearly destroyed my people, I’m not actually sure the German victory would’ve been much worse for us in that regard.
