In El Zonte? Wave House looks nice, but is quite expensive unless you're traveling with a group. I usually stay at Palo Verde next door. Palo Verde is also a little pricey for El Zonte, but cheaper than Wave House and includes breakfast and their breakfast is winnahs. On the cheaper side, I'd recommend Escencia Nativa which is about $100 a night for an ocean view room.

agree with this. Beach on the rocks is also very nice through booking.com Beach Break hotel is also good.

Thanks for the info. I’m hoping to chat with people that are familiar with the area. My travel needs are fairly unique. One of us on the trip is in a wheelchair and I can’t seem to find much info about accessibility and terrain.

I wouldn’t recommend going to El Zonte with a wheelchair. Seems like it would be tough to get around and not sure if any of the hotels are accessible.
