do keep in mind that people who use windows/discord/X but claim to support privacy, decentralization, or freedom tech: they are virtue signaling, without a shred of true virtue

it's unironically worse than those who claim to do something to help but only say "thoughts and prayers". these people are contributing to the network effect of proprietary software and centralized services. at least the "thoughts and prayers" people aren't making their respective problems worse 🤦‍♀️
