Hope iOS native app instead a PWA version
Followers load very slowly and there's alwaus huge disparity. Iris always shows half of what other clients show.

Iris rejects all content from authors that your social network has not interacted with. You get way less spam and your follower count is lower for the same reason.
plz develop a native android app, the wrapper is not only inconvenient (keep accidentally tapping that x button in the top left to go back), but it's not as private or secure as a native app. thx
The biggest issue i have with iris compared to damus on damus when someone likes or replies to my comments I have a notification, on iris i have to manually dig through my replies. Between messages and global there should be a bell with notifications (like twitter)

Its working in light mode. I had it in dark mode it wasn' t working? going to switch back to dark mode and check.

Cool thanks so much. 👍 Im not sure what i did or what you did but that heart never did anything. I think it may have been a "will you allow notifications" and i may have clicked no.. then i logged into anouther web client that same popup came up i chose yes. Since then its working ... my guess anyways. Doesn't matter im just happy i no longer have dig through "replies" to answer people 10 minutes later lol. TYTY iris seriously my favorite by far. 😘

When you click on an image and look at it in "fullscreen" mode, hitting the browser's Back button will not close the image modal component, but will instead navigate back to the previous page, leaving the image modal still open with the image in the front... Thanks for fixing this in advance :)
If you click outside of the image it will close it.
yes, that is true. In my opinion, it should also be the case with the Back button. This is especially useful with certain Android systems where you have the habit to swipe left/right to close an image (basically triggering a back action when swiping)... Just my 2 sats :) Keep up the good work. Iris is my favourite Nostr client btw.
When I click on a hashtag in Iris it searches for the text only and omits the hashtag symbol. So it behaves different than entering the hashtag in the search. #pv

Another thing... maybe you'll find a better way to show that there are multiple images in a note. For example I did almost miss the "show more" link here ... #[3]
Number & list of followers isn't right using iris. Looks like it dosen't show the ones from damus.
add the option to choose the language you want to translate. I had to put Iris in English to avoid automatically translating everything. but some notes i would like to translate but clicking translate is translated from english to english.
Hey I’m positively surprised with this TestFlight. It works so smooth that it feels really nice
Two suggestions:
- every time I’m checking my feed, the first thing in tip is a space used for the world “follows”, like a heading that disappears as I scroll down. I wonder if that can be removed since it’s sort of clear that is my feed and I would prefer not to see that every time using si much shape
- once I start scrolling down, and that message disappears it’s replaced with a purple one indicating that there is a new message which is annoying because a) it takes again very visible space and b) there will always be new messages that we will eventually see later on once we scroll up again. So maybe I would not use that grading place for that and just put a small dot somewhere so I know there is new content for me to check later
Adding one more. To my first point maybe that word follows can moved directly to the black heading of the app or directly disappear since the “home” at the bottom is highlighted indicating we are just seeing out follows. But eventually moving it to the very top with a small word saying follows or global can work as well
I’m starting to see som global feed stuff that I don’t like. It would be great to be able to see who in my network is responsible for it so I can decide if I want to still follow.
The linking can go deep in your social graph (not your first or 2nd level following) so blocking the undesired user is the easiest but a good suggestion!
It would be nice if could apply custom filters to the "following" feed. Things like only showing original notes and/or replies/reposts. Maybe sorting filters as well, in order to sort by Like/Zap/View count.. etc. Without such filtering the following feed could easily turn into a "global" feed :)
Can you implement a gif browser in the emoticon menu, twitter style?
Can't imagine how troublesome that will be given Nostr's architecture, but it would go a long way to make our feeds even more interesting.
Aside from that, great job guys, I'm really loving the UX so far, smooth and no apparent bugs or glitches. Haven't found any of the glitches I hear about with other clients. I'm using the webapp btw.

Any chance you could limit a number of times a repost of a specific note is shown in the feed? Otherwise reposts of the same viral notes take up half of the feed/global. Also would be nice if when you repost from a feed, you would stay in the same place, not automatically jump to the top.
