Who said anything about a mortgage? Landlord prefers to transact without a mediator(bank). Finance systems doesn’t know we know each other.
I am living in the real world. It’s no financial institution or government organization business to know how and who I spend my money with. You must live in a world where your government doesn’t suppress its citizens.
Even if you have a weird metal for domicile situation (which I doubt) it’s still not feasible for the vast majority of people. Also it’s not feasible for the VAST majority of global commerce to use physical metals as money. Don’t play dumb. It doesn’t work.
