Or propaganda?

I’m not is the US so no skin in this horse but when the government does big ads (regardless if it’s paid for with Doge) I think it’s worth remaining vigilant.

Replacing state aperatus with new state aperatus. I have my popcorn ready.

Well they are auditing the government and are finding extreme blatant fraud and everything is the most evil you could imagine. Why would people not care about this??

It is like someone auditing your bank account and proving your bank has been stealing from you blatantly and knowingly. And you defend your bank.

Depends how much trust you have in Musk. Finding fraud - great. Funding 5 Superbowl adverts about it? Not great. I have no way of telling how much is finding fraud and how much is a power grab. Why not both?

Propaganda works best when it ticks existing biases.

Like I said, I've no skin in this horse. Interested seeing how it plays out.

He said he's paying out of pocket for the ads tho?

Thats what I heard. He also claims he is not taking a salary for his work.

Drop in ocean for him, but sends a strong message.

Agreed it’s minor for him.

I take it all previous government money that went to Musk’s companies was all cool though.

Fair point.

Yes, the money would mean nothing to him anyway. Canada originally said 100% tariffs on Tesla cars, they may have backed down now. Trump promoting Detroit auto workers gas cars. I don’t think they are trying to make themselves richer. Trump and Elon are trying to keep us from turning into Venezuela or some other shit hole.
