Spot on about the nature of Silk Road.

Your usage is your choice. I don't even condone drug usage, but Silk Road was way safer than getting shafted in the street alley or not being able to actually review your dealer. People underestimate the value in those latter two - it changes everything.

This ethic dilemma around this case is real . Software developer is solely not responsible if his platform used by Criminals without his knowledge , is this right , do you think ?

If you are aware or the criminality and you don't stop it then you are partly to blame. I believe that, in this case, as if there was criminal exchanges then he was part of it happening.

I don't think that accounts for all trades on his platform, but I can't give him the greenlight on everything if it included selling scams for example.

Just saw some post what he did with Silk Road and he knew it , if that’s the case he is voluntary helping that drugs and cartel crimes flourish knowingly . In that case he legitimately guilty and should be charged. But the amount of charged is seems insane 2 x life sentences and 40 years .

Agreed, Silk Road was a great idea - no doubt.

But how you run and operate it, determines your morality.

And then yes, even after that - it does sound outlandish his sentence for what he did. I guess he served his time now, 11 years is a lot of time to think.

I hope with his skills he can developed more benefit website application that can advanced our used of technology in healthcare , manufacture or so .

Hmm do you why nobody talked about Aaron case ? Is he really suicide ?
