It does if you use the Google play store app. It doesn't if you use zapstore or obtanium.

I believe the play store binary does, but the fdroid binary doesn't. Don't hold me to that though

It still does but it's very unreliable and it often translates normal English into random languages, which ramps up the cache. I occasionally reinstall for this reason.
