I have never brewed that myself before. Does it float while steeping so the straw just drinks from the bottom or?

You fill up the gourd with the leaves, and the straw filters out the particles. When I'm able, I prepare it with some chai spices. Highly recommend! I've found it shapes the tone of my day very positively
