Thanks for the heads up. I don't make a lot on wavlake but they get a 10% cut nevertheless.
I'm already so unknown though, so wouldn't self-hosting make it even more difficult to get your music known/heard?
I am once again reminding musicians to THINK before blindly uploading your art to company playforms because it is incredibly simple to self-host your #music which allows you to maintain complete control of your #RSS feed and all #v4v value received. This is #DeMu and this is #sovereign #art -- and it works for audio books too, especially because you can utilize the chapters tag! #artstr
Here is a video walkthrough using MusicSideProject.com but there's also a DIY template I'll link below

Nope, there are music shows like HomegrownHits.xyz that play EXCLUSIVELY decentralized music AND there's a tab on LNBeats.com that lets you filter out all the WL stuff to see just the self-hosted artists 💜
I also think there's A LOT more value exchange between the decentralized sovereign-minded folks. It's a small but mighty group.
Will definitely have a look into it! I wasn't even aware of any of this until your post. I thought wavlake was my best option these days but it sure sounds like it's not.
