It's the same for different size cities.
Since when I came to live in a bigger city (not that big 160+k people) I'm note focused on my privacy, I blurred my house on maps and so on.
When I used to live in a small town, everybody knew me and I knew everybody. The sense of community actually makes you feel protected, while in the city makes you feel exposed.
