You need inbound liquidity :) like an abacus 🧮 you opened up channels to another node and all the liquidity (total capacity of that connection) is on your side!
Discussion
To add, in order to get inbound liquidity you either can use Voltage.cloud (loop out) or have someone open a channel out to you. There are videos of YouTube explaining this, and my DMs are always open to beginners
I connected to a peer, had him connect to me and put the same amount into the channel. I’m showing inbound and outbound liquidity, but still nothing.
Hmmm, and the wallet is properly connected to the node? What wallet are you using?
I’m using blue wallet.
That’s what I used. In the top right (…) you clicked the lightning wallet and made sure it’s pointing to your local host?
Yes.
I would use your lightning node app on umbrel instead. BlueWallet is terrible and gives me a lot of errors too. Once you get a hang of using the ln node app I’d get ZeusLn as your lightning app instead
Need instructions plz ser.
I have umbrels
