I like the idea of renting a house, next time, so that we have someplace with a kitchen and can run our own bar, and retreat there, in the end. Just have to throw everyone out, in the end, who doesn't rent a room.

We're not a very loud or rowdy bunch, literally just want to sit around drinking beer and chatting for hours.

Middle aged developed world women buying a rural property so they can't be seen drinking themselves to death is actually pretty common
