Replying to nobody

Part of the charm. Could really tweak the hell out of it. But I’m old now and tweaking is what I do when I try to get out of bed in the morning. I need shit to work, and this does look super clean and is performing very well.

Used to run it on deb way back. updates and upgrades would always break heavily tweaked systems, especially if non standard X server yeesh. Gnome has just sorta carried on, except desktop cubes. desktop cubes verboten.

Yeah back in the day it could be fragile. I can’t remember how many times I borked SuSE 7 Professional. I think that was KDE 2
