The Bondi shootings are shocking, people have died, and their families are forever traumatised. RIP to them. Horrible

But I do have some questions:

- who were the gunmen?

- why did they do it?

- what does it mean when Israel can point to this “terror”, whilst ignore Gaza, and demand stricter anti-semitic laws?

- how is it that all this new Australian gun control legislation was already prepared and ready to be proposed?

Given this is the month that stricter digital ID regulations for internet usage also come into play, am I even allowed to write these questions down publicly online…

This is nothing new.

For their record, there has been 1,926 Islamic terrorist attacks globally in 2025 (so far).

13,609 deaths, 6,375 injuries in 49 countries.

Israel’s aggression materialises at a State level. The optics are different and the killing is more palatable.

Same dog, different shit, same violence, different perceptions.

Never let a good disaster go to waste - hence the gun control discussions. The Australian government would have had these in the pipeline for a longgggg time. Labor / The Coalition / The Greens have bipartisan support for taking away civil liberties for Aussies. The receipts are numerous from 2020 - 2024 during the COVID era.
