As a physician, I see every time the media distorts (lies about) some medical or nutrition topic. But when I hear news about something I'm not an expert in, my knee-jerk is to believe it.
You've probably noticed this too in your field of expertise.
What we are all faced with now, as rational humans, is that they've been lying about lots of things...
Some lied. Everyone else just did what they’re trained to do.
Also turns out they’re not actually experts - they just prey on the fact that people think they are.

Hopefully, COVID has opened everyone's eyes to how bad the lies have become. The lies have been happening across the board for multiple generations now.
I call bullshit on 911, but many still don't.
