Honestly if you get sick and “have time”, especially if you have insurance.
Just travel to a different country get the help you need and come back.

It’s true. You can probably fly to India, get top notch private healthcare, stay for 6 months while you recover, eat delicious food that costs almost nothing, and work remotely for a fraction of what it would cost here even after insurance kicks in.
I find it interesting & frustrating that tech jobs provide some of the better and more affordable insurance options
