Who is Michael?

From Revelation

That is important

In the Bible, the archangel Michael is explicitly mentioned in Revelation 12:7–12, where he fights Satan and casts him out of heaven:

Revelation 12:7: War breaks out in heaven

Revelation 12:8: Michael and his angels fight against the dragon and his angels, but the dragon is not strong enough and they lose their place in heaven

Revelation 12:9: The dragon, also known as Satan, is hurled down to earth, along with his angels.

This defeat of Satan at the coming of Jesus marks the separation of the New Testament from Judaism. In the Old Testament, Satan's formal role was as accuser, but Michael's victory over Satan prevents him from having further access to God in this role.

In the Bible and the Qurʾān, Michael is often depicted as the "great captain" and leader of the heavenly hosts. He is also portrayed as a warrior who helps the children of Israel.

The number of Near-Death Experience (NDE) cases reported each year is difficult to quantify accurately. NDEs are subjective experiences that occur in life-threatening situations, such as during cardiac arrest, severe trauma, or surgery. These experiences vary widely, and many individuals do not report them, either due to personal reasons or because they might not remember the experience.

However, some studies suggest that 10% to 20% of people who survive a close brush with death report having an NDE. Since there are millions of people worldwide who experience life-threatening situations annually, this could imply that hundreds of thousands of NDEs occur each year globally.

The actual number is hard to determine due to underreporting, differences in definitions of what constitutes an NDE, and variations in cultural or individual interpretations of these experiences.
