Soil macro biology is awesome. These cow pies are less than a day old and the dung beetles are already hard at work. The use of pour on meds like Ivermectin (commonly used to treat parasites in cattle) would kill these little buggers.

The dung beetles ball up the manure and move it down into tunnels in the soil, which in turn feeds the soil biology, which grows the grass. Local economies!
