nah, i think i’ve gained some respect for him. he literally has nothing right now, as trump said, no cards. he still stood there like a man. i respect that.

Agreed. As much as he may have shot himself in the foot, he didn’t back down from what his positions are.
Even in his Lex Fridman podcast, he was adamant about doing things a certain way regardless of how Lex felt about it. That has impact both ways.
respect must be given to be received, and IMO Zelensky did not show gratitude for the 1/2 trillion dollars of our tax dollars and support.. To Trump it's just business, like he said to Zelensky "It's gonna be hard to do business" if he continues to act like that.. But yeah you sat there an took it like a man and "ate his crow" so to speak.
