Maybe. But I wouldn’t count on it. It’s either death or money. The imposition of unnecessary urgency is über creepy. Such false couplings are super common amongst psychopaths. But I suppose it is true of scammers too.

Doesn’t know you by name, broad area reference - clearly a generic email sent in bulk or copy pasted to many people. Avoid at all costs.
