Yes. I remember all of this. A lot of social media is just iNfLoOEncErS blasting out pedantic, pandering "content" for contents sake. No engagement. Just hot air and nOiSe.

Nostr has been so rad in this regard. Real connections, discussion and Zaps - how rad are Zaps?!

No algorithms... just plebs sending each other Bitcoin for fun.

And zaps are really exciting. The lightning network is so cool. I notice that YouTube now allows tipping some creators but the minimum amount is $2 and it’s got to be on kyc rails. Not so with lightning.

I don’t know how much a creator gets for an ad on a YouTube video, but I’d rather pay twice that in sats to not have to see the ads.
