Question: if you were to get an acre or 2 of land that's only seen soybean/corn/winter wheat action the last 30 years what would be the first steps to restoring it?

i'd start with cover crops. multiple species. nitrogen fixers. root crops.

start building soil through composting. raised beds. mulch, mulch, mulch. deep and wide.
