I want to be unhinged on this thing but the thought of not being able to delete or archive scares me into being normal

There is a NIP that is proposed for processing deletion requests of posts if I recall .. but relays do not have to implement it so your best bet is be safe because here what you share is forever.
I think I saw that too. Hopefully in the future :)
