Monero inflation tends to 0% just like BTC. But for various reasons (security, cash function) it made slightly other trade offs.

Currently Monero supply is smaller than BTC and it has about equal inflation.

Self-custody is close to 100% which means fractional reserves are a thing of the past, while gocernment could demand the same reserve requirements from BTC custodians as banks.
