McDonald's has resumed sales of its Quarter Pounder burgers in all US restaurants after ruling out its beef patties as the source of an E. coli outbreak that left one person dead and dozens ill. Samples of beef patties tested negative for the bacteria, and the Colorado Department of Agriculture has no plans for further testing. The company had suspended sales in around a fifth of its US restaurants following the outbreak.
