Google finally did it. Is it time to switch to Firefox? I believe users should be in control of what they can install and use on their desktop or laptop. There's uBlock Origin Lite, which replaces the original uBlock Origin for Chrome and similar browsers. Give it a try.

The other option is using brave, though I highly doubt they will maintain the extension when the v3 requirement is rolled out fully

They tout privacy, they should integrate the extension into the browser

Hmm maybe, I kept having YouTube want to run ads, on Brave. Not sure what brave + ublock origin is like nowadays or if unaffected by this? 🤔

Youtube would not work with YouTube for me on firefox with ublock enabled

I assume there is a war raging in the background that ublock will win again? 🤞

Brave = Chrome based, not google.
