Hey, we are living in neighboring timezones. :-) But yes, life in the west of East Europe is probably a bit different from what you have there down south. Anyway, yes, it would always be a tradeoff and risk wouldn't be completely mitigated.
BTW isn't buying T bills a moral hazard? With profit you are taking a share of government seized property.
