I have studied enough to have more than 90% of my considerable fortune in pure bitcoin. I don’t care how other people get exposure to it, directly or indirectly. And without the indirect, layer 2, 3 or 4 ”solutions” that now are in place, bitcoin would not be the success that it now is.

WBTC is not a layer on Bitcoin.
It uses bitcoin that is locked and taken off the market. In my world that is a form of layer of bitcoin, similar to Microstrategy which I suppose you also find repulsive, the REAL and PURE BITCOINER you are😅
I for one am happy that the world got a shitcoining bitcoiner as the head of the USA, not an antibitcoiner, CBDC-loving communist as president.
Because that would have been truly catastrophic for bitcoiners. And freedomlovers in general.
