The software side has an escape from censorship, but hardware is the great gatekeeper. Apple could vanish Damus. There is a desperate need for open-source mobile hardware. Big tech has a lock on hardware.

That’s software. We need more hardware that’s not from the major three. An environment similar to the personal computer market circa 1983.
