I suggest you #build it and see if they come. some might already be there, just need someone the say "hey, we're hanging over here" and see who shows up. if there's a good sized group, jack might just show up. :)

Matrix is an open communications platform/protocol. It allows for messaging/chat rooms/etc. You just grab a client, create a user and find a place to hang. SxC (SimpleXChat or just SimpleX) is similar but has very different onboarding and a slightly different target. But, there are lots of great places to chat there. (https://simplex.chat/) No choice of client here. Just platform. I’d suggest mobile OS of choice first. The desktop app is challenging.
