I’ve still got a single, full length, metal house ladder.
I've managed to inherit a roof ladder. That's interesting, carrying up a house ladder, then wheeling up over a roof to hook over the ridge.
We need to pass down this knowledge. 😄
I remember how important it was to keep the wooden ladders painted, otherwise they ended up too heavy to lift if left out in the rain.
My neighbour had one of his roof for about 5 years for no apparent reason. We called his house "Ladder House".
